City Excellence is an innovative 2 year secondary school-based initial teacher training programme in Tower Hamlets secondary schools.  You will be offered:

• the opportunity to teach in and learn from, different school settings within Tower Hamlets

• the experience of training within a thriving and successful inner city context
• mentoring from subject specialists

At the end of the first year, candidates who successfully pass their QTS will be awarded a PGCE with Masters credits and will be offered a fully paid 1 year contract in which to complete their NQT year at one of the schools in the cluster.
