CAREERS BLOG: Employers on Campus – companies students want to work for

With companies on campus, from employers in residence to employer presentations, workshops and fairs, many students will be asking to question of whether these are the companies students want to work for.

Since October 2011 until the end of the current term 29 out of the Job Crowd Top 100 Companies for Graduates to work for, hosted an event on our campus with a further 16 posting opportunities on our Interactive Careers Service page.

In addition to this 27 out of the Top 50 ratemyplacement.co.uk  Placement and Internship Employers Table 2012-13 (including 8 of the Top 10), a further 3 posting opportunities and ASOS writing us a guest blog on Dress to impress for your interview.

Not interested in placements or internships with big employers? Then you may be interested in 3 of the top 10 Medium-sized employers that visited campus in recent times instead.

With more employers visiting campus this term and next this is your opportunity to take advantage of what employers have to offer at presentations, workshops to develop skills applicable to the workplace, as well as fairs and employers in residence offering you the opportunity to network and gain hints and tips on applications. We know the job market is tough at the moment, so why not give yourself an advantage over the rest of the crowd by taking advantage of the opportunities on offer.
