The 3 minute thesis is back!

The Researcher Development Team are offering York PhD students the opportunity to present their research to a lay audience on 18 June.

Develop your academic, presentation and research communication skills by presenting to an audience made up of members of the public and local schools.

How to apply: Submit a 500 word summary of your research and its potential impact on society/the economy. The summaries will be reviewed by a panel of experts, including academics and alumni. 30 students will then be selected to take part in the semi-finals (taking place in April).

Deadline for submissions: 5 April
