Frontline: new route into Social Work is open for applications

A new two year practice based route into Social Work is now open for high achieving students with leadership potential.  The Frontline programme, which hopes to transform the profession, is accepting applications from students expecting a minimum of 2.1 in any degree discipline.  The closing date is 30 November 2013 – but they might close applications early depending on the response, so if you think this is for you apply early.

In this initial pilot phase, successful applicants will be based in either Greater London or Greater Manchester. After an intensive 5 week summer institute next summer, applicants will immediately start working in real life situations in a Local Authority Child Protection team – led and supported by an experienced Social Worker.  Throughout the two year programme you will continue to work, study for academic qualifications and develop on the Leadership Development Programme.
