The Sirius Programme is a new UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) scheme that allows young entrepreneurs (final year students or recent graduates) to apply for help setting up their business in the UK. Only teams of between of 2 – 4 members can apply – and at least half the team must be non-British citizens. If successful, all members will be required to commit full time to the programme for 12 months.
Successful applicants will receive a 12 month start-up support package which includes a £12,000 investment for each team member, a place in a business accelerator programme, mentoring and logistical help with relocating to the UK for those who have already graduated. You will also receive help with buidling networks to help you gain the clients to develop your business in the UK. If you don’t already have a team you can enter with, you may be able to form a team from members of the Sirius community who you can contact through the website.
As well as financial suport you will also be sponsored through UKTI for a Tier 1 Graduate Entrepreneur visa,
