The European Space Agency’s “Drop your Thesis!” competition gives students at any level of study the opportunity to perform scientific or technological research in microgravity conditions. The ESA has the capbablities to conduct research on several low gravity platforms including the ZARM Drop Tower at the University of Bremen – and successful student teams will be able to carry out a microgravity experiment there.
The call for 2014 experiment proposals are now open and the deadline is 19 January 2014. In previous years, successful student teams have presented their results in many theses, at international conferences and/or published papers in renowned scientifc journals.
