JSPS Summer Programme

The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science’s Summer Programme provides the opportunity for current MPhil or PhD students to receive a one week orientation on Japanese culture  and research systems on arrival for a fellowship of a fixed period between 10 June – 20 August 2014.

The value of the award is: return international airfare, maintenance allowance, domestic research trip allowance, research-related expenses, and overseas travel and accident insurance.

Applicants need to be a UK national and a current MPhil or PhD student based at a UK university or research institution. Eligible research fields are not limited.
