10, 9, 8… the countdown’s on for this year’s York Award application deadline. Only three weeks left with the closing date looming on Friday 24 January (by 5pm).
So, if you’re a final year undergrad thinking about applying, don’t wait any longer. The application form is available to download at www.york.ac.uk/careers/yorkaward (click on YA assessment and interview).
The application form asks you to write about everything you’ve been doing while at York, including your academic study, work experience (paid or voluntary), personal interests, and completion of approved elective courses offered by the University.
So, if you’ve had a variety of experiences, which you can reflect on, and can show how you’ve personally developed as a result, why not submit an application? The award is an official recognition by the University of your employability skills and your personal development, which employers and further study providers will be interested in too.
