The Institute of Physics (IOP) is currently advertising summer placement opportunities for penultimate year Physics undergraduates. Each 8 week placement awards a £2000 bursary.

The ‘Top50’ Work Placements Bursary Scheme offers you the opportunity to get paid work experience this summer. There are over 50 placements to choose from and the deadline for applications is 28 April 2014.

To be eligible to apply you must be a member of the Institute of Physics (membership is free for physics students), you must be on an accredited or recognised physics degree course, and you must be in your penultimate year of study.  Opportunities are available in academia, industry or research.
