Foreign Policy workshop, London 10 September

Invitation to students from international affairs think tank for young people, Future Foreign Policy www.futureforeignpolicy.com:

Future Foreign Policy workshop : ‘Strategic Foresight: The World in 2025′, hosted by the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office, London, Wednesday 10 September 4-6pm.

If you would like to attend, you can apply by emailing foundations@futureforeignpolicy.com with a short cover letter explaining why you are interested in the workshop, and including your degree course and university, by Friday 29 August.

The event itself is an engaging strategic planning workshop where we will look forward to the year 2025 and consider the future in international security, technology, economic development, ecological challenges, and social innovation. Identifying major changes in the world in the next 10 years is key to developing a comprehensive strategy to not only adapt to change, but be at the forefront of progress and innovation.

Students have the opportunity to be at the heart of this conversation. The workshop will kick off with a keynote speech by the Joint Head of the Policy Unit in the FCO, followed by an interactive session where students will have the chance to brainstorm and present their own ideas and solutions. This will be invaluable experience to develop strategic planning capabilities and get first-hand practical advice from a senior diplomat.

As there are very limited spaces available for this event, we kindly ask that only those who are able to 100% commit to attending the event apply as we will have a waiting list.
