This event is a virtual event and is open to students of any discipline and from any year.  The winning team will receive an 8 week summer internship at Vodafone UK HQ in Newbury as well as an iPad each.  There are other great prizes for runners up.

Innovation

At Vodafone, it’s in our DNA. Since launching the UKs first mobile network in 1985, we haven’t stopped pushing the boundaries of technology.

We want the most creative problem solvers in our team. The innovators of tomorrow.

Vodafone 24 is a national student competition inviting you to show us your skills. Each team will be given a theme and must respond to this theme with a concept utilizing mobile technology.

The winning team will then be invited to join us for a paid summer internship at our UK headquarters.

Event Weekend

After registering, you will receive the chosen themes at midday on Saturday 28^th February. You then have just twenty four hours to submit your concept.

We are looking for deliverables- judging is done purely on the outcome, not the process leading up to this.

Work is to be submitted digitally. This could be documents, images, videos or prototype applications/web pages. There is a 5MB submission limit, so we suggest hosting large video or audio files on a site such as Vimeo.

Prizes

After judging, the team awarded first each win an iPad and an eight week paid internship at our UK headquarters in Newbury, Berkshire.

Entering the challenge

To enter, join the Vodafone 24 closed Facebook group and download the application form. Form your team of between two and five member and email the completed form to vodafone24@vodafone.com by midday on 27^th February
