Careers blog written by Irena Zientek, Information Resources Manager, Careers
Most of the information on our web pages is appropriate for the majority of students. For example, if you want part-time work or you’re starting to think about your future career, the basic information is the same whether you’re a postgrad, undergrad, UK or international student.
However, there are issues which are specific to certain groups of students – whether that’s regulations about working in the UK as an international student; disclosing a disability during the recruitment process; or the different way careers help is available to distance learners.
So, if you’re:
- an international student
- a mature student
- a postgrad (taught or research)
- a distance learner
- a graduate of the University (alumni)
- a prospective student
- or have a disability
check out our Student and alumni groups web pages, covering key issues, things to consider, and frequently asked questions.
As ever, once you’ve explored the relevant pages, if you’ve still got questions – get in touch with us. You can book an appointment to discuss things further.
