Careers with children, young people and adult learners event

This event, on Wednesday 11 November (4pm – 6pm) in D/L/028, is a great opportunity to talk to training providers and professionals working in the a range of roles in the education and youth sectors. Check who’s attending at the event web page.

York Award

If you’re due to graduate in 2016 you can apply for the York Award this academic year. The application form will be available from Week 8 on the assessment process web page. Don’t forget, there are Applying for the York Award sessions on:

  • Mon 16 Nov (12 noon)
  • Mon 23 Nov (10pm)
  • Weds 6 Jan (time to be confirmed).

If you have applied for a York Students in Schools Spring Term placement, be sure to complete a DBS check. This criminal records check is a requirement of the YSIS programme.

You can get a check at:

  • one of our drop-in sessions in Careers (available every week day between 11.45am – 1.15pm) or
  • DBS clinic  on Thurs 12 Nov (1pm – 3pm, in P/T/006).
