Commencing in September, Newcastle Law School will be establishing the first Black Law Students Society in the UK comprised of law students from various universities who are studying in the north east. Open to all students, the society aims to encourage and support black and Afro-Caribbean students studying in the north east. The society will offer career advice, mentoring programmes and networking opportunities whilst providing an open space to discuss issues of race in law and in the legal profession. This is an opportunity to connect with other law students in the North East and members of the legal profession.

We are looking for talented individuals to join our committee, it is open to students of all stages and its a rare opportunity to work alongside students studying in other universities in the North East. There are many roles available and we are looking for candidates who are outspoken and passionate about the law.
