Opportunities for law and non law students at our Law Fair, Wednesday 12 October

You don’t have to be studying Law to be a lawyer… come along to our Law Fair on Wednesday 12 October any time between 12pm-3pm in the Physics Exhibition Centre.

Law firms are looking for students from a range of disciplines who can offer qualities such as good communication skills, research skills, attention to detail, good at working in a team, motivation, stamina, and adaptability. See more in this article ‘What skills do law firms look for…?’ All of which you’ll have in buckets!

If you don’t study law you can take a conversion course after your degree to enter the profession – many legal professionals have taken this route.

All year groups welcome – we will be welcoming over 50 recruiters and training providers offering graduate roles as well as placements, internships and work experience opportunities – so there is something for everyone.

This is a unique opportunity for you to talk to recruiters face-to-face and find out what they have to offer, how to get ahead and when you need to make an application. Don’t miss out, as many deadlines for internships and graduate roles are pre-Christmas!

For more details please see www.york.ac.uk/careers/events or the Facebook event.  See you there!
